Linen, cotton and velvet botanical prints

Can I introduce you to my hand painted designs, each one printed onto natural fabrics here in the UK.

Bee Orchid

This pretty fabric was created in collaboration with Horatio’s Garden charity for their gorgeous tea towels collection. Horatio’s Garden nurtures the wellbeing of people after spinal injury in beautiful, vibrant sanctuaries within the heart of NHS spinal injury centres.

Printed here in the UK on a malty coloured undyed ground, this raw organic linen would be wonderful for blinds, upholstery, curtain and cushions.

Organic undyed linen, 250 gsm in weight and 135 cm wide.

Caring for your linen fabric:

Our cotton and linen fabrics should be washed at no hotter than 30 degrees and as they are natural fabrics, may shrink by 4-5% on the first wash:

Wash on a delicate machine cycle at 30 °C / 85F. Delicate tumble cycle on a low heat. Iron on a medium heat using steam, ironing print side down for best results. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Shrinkage estimated 4-8%.

Midnight Forget Me Not Cotton Velvet
£110.00

A delicate Forget Me Not flower design printed onto a lovely soft undyed organic linen, the print inspired by the spiralling pinks and purples Forget Me Nots that line the Test Valley river in the summer months.

Which type of fabric to choose?

This design is printed on cotton canvas and a cotton velvet. Velvet is a good fabric for sofas, chairs and cushions as it’s so hardwearing, soft and luxurious. A velvet sofa is a dream to sit in. Most upholstery velvets are made of polyester which is made from petrochemicals which are not biodegradable, but ours is made of cotton, a natural fabric.

This cotton velvet is 140cm wide, the design has a repeat drop of 25cm and the fabric weight is 250 gsm (grams per square metre).

Our upholstery fabric is suitable for curtains, general furnishing, blinds and cushions. Cotton velvet is very hard wearing and is good for sofas and chairs without showing signs of wear, but should not be washed due to the ‘nap’ that gives it its soft feel.  All our designs are hand painted and printed by traditional printers in the UK.

If you’re looking for a piece of fabric for a headboard or large shade, just message us and we can print your order horizontally and without any vertical seams.

Horatio’s Garden RHS Chelsea Collaboration

In 2025 Horatio’s Garden commissioned Katy to design the backdrop for our RHS Chelsea Flower Show trade stand created by acclaimed landscape designer Bunny Guinness. Horatio’s Garden immediately thought of Katy as her style fits so beautifully with Bunny’s vision. Katy is thrilled to now be able to reproduce the Chelsea stand design in two versions to be used as a table cloth, curtains, wall hanging, cushion covers or whatever else your imagination dreams up. With 25% of the purchase price going to Horatio’s Garden this is a partnership made in floral heaven.

Horatio's Garden Foxglove Panel
£195.00

When Horatio’s Garden commissioned Katy to design the backdrop for our RHS Chelsea Flower Show trade stand, the design was so popular that we decided to create what’s called an ‘all over print’, a design that can be viewed from more than one direction. We reproduced the successful Chelsea stand design but as a repeat that can be hung any way up as a table cloth, curtains, wall hanging, cushion covers and more. Like the Horatio’s Garden Meadow panel, 25% of the purchase price goes to Horatio’s Garden each time you buy a metre of this beautiful fabric.

This Foxglove all over pattern can also be used as a single wall hanging.  Each panel is 135cm wide and 300 cm long and made of a mix of undyed linen and cotton, 250 gsm in weight.

We can even print this design as a wallpaper.

Care instructions for your linen:

Wash on a delicate machine cycle at 30 °C / 85F. Delicate tumble cycle on a low heat. Iron on a medium heat using steam, ironing print side down for best results. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Shrinkage estimated 4-8%.

Horatio's Garden RHS Chelsea Meadow Panel
£195.00

One of two designs created in collaboration with Horatio’s Garden.

Katy has supported this charity for several years by providing artistic workshops in our South West garden, based in Salisbury, as part of the arts programme the charity delivers for people with spinal injuries.

In 2025 Horatio’s Garden commissioned Katy to design the backdrop for our RHS Chelsea Flower Show trade stand. The trade stand was created by acclaimed landscape designer Bunny Guinness, and as part of the design she wanted to cover the trade stand walls in a beautiful floral design in keeping with her planting scheme. Horatio’s Garden immediately thought of Katy as her style fits so beautifully with Bunny’s vision. Katy is thrilled to now be able to reproduce the Chelsea stand design and turn it into a stunning material panel that can be used in your home as a table cloth, curtains, wall hanging, cushion covers or whatever else your imagination dreams up. With 25% of the purchase price going to Horatio’s Garden this is a partnership made in floral heaven.

Each panel fits seamlessly together with the next one, creating a beautiful endless meadow design. This Meadow design is perfect for curtains and blinds. Horatio’s Garden linen panels can also be used as a single wall hanging or even a tablecloth.  Each panel is 135cm wide and 300 cm long and made of a mix of undyed linen and cotton, 250 gsm in weight and 130 cm wide.

We can also print this design as a wallpaper.

Cotton velvet is very hard wearing and will work on sofas and chairs without signs of wear, but should not be washed due to the ‘nap’ that gives it its soft feel.
